Tina Bukow is a Managing Director of Business Development for the insurance ratings initiative at Kroll Bond Rating Agency, Inc. In this role, Tina is responsible for developing new business as well as industry and ratings relationships in all subsectors of the insurance space. Tina has more than 30 years of experience in business development, marketing and client relationship management, with a major career focus in the financial services industry, predominately insurance. Prior to joining KBRA, Tina spent more than a decade at A.M. Best, where she was head of Business Development for insurance ratings, responsible for ratings growth in the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, and parts of Latin America. Tina holds a B.S. in Marketing and Management from Saint Peter’s University and is a frequent attendee and presenter at industry events, as well as an active participant on industry association committees.


Organization: State of Vermont, Department of Economic Development


As Captive Insurance Economic Development Director, Brittany is responsible for the marketing and business development of Vermont’s captive insurance industry, working closely with the Department of Financial Regulation and Vermont Captive Insurance Association to strengthen the state’s reputation as the premier onshore captive insurance domicile. Within state government, Brittany advises Vermont’s Governor and Secretary of Commerce on new captive insurance legislation and policy recommendations to assure a beneficial business environment for expansion and relocation within the state. She also works closely with Vermont’s congressional delegation, monitoring policy pertaining to the regulation of captive insurance and related financial services industries. Brittany worked in the fields of community and economic development in the nonprofit and governmental sectors serving technology, solar, health care and child care sectors. Brittany understands regulatory systems and processes through her time with the State of Texas as a Policy Specialist for Long Term Care Regulatory Services. Most recently, Brittany worked in Austin, Texas managing Travis County’s Economic Incentive Program, where the County entered into a variety of economic incentive agreements to support businesses and further the County’s comprehensive economic development goals. Brittany received an M.A. in sustainable development with a concentration in policy advocacy & analysis from SIT Graduate Institute and a B.A. in political science from the University of Vermont.
