Organization: Grant Assurance Corporation


Lisa Begg is the Director of Corporate Risk Management for United States Steel Corporation (“U. S. Steel”), responsible for coordinating the placement of insurance for the corporation and its subsidiaries. She is also the President of U. S. Steel’s captive insurance company, Grant Assurance Corporation. Lisa began her twenty-nine-year career at U. S. Steel as a Tax Attorney in the U. S. Steel Tax Department. During the next sixteen years, she advanced her career in the Treasury and Corporate Finance Department through a series of roles increasing her responsibility and leadership skills. In 2008, she was appointed Manager – Risk Management and in 2013 advanced to her current position. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science and earned her Juris Doctorate at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.


Organization: Munich Re


Robert Parisi is Head of Cyber Solutions-North America for Munich Re F&C (Facultative & Corporate). Prior to joining Munich Re, Robert was with Marsh for 15 years serving as Managing Director and Cyber Product Leader; his responsibilities included advising clients on issues related to intellectual property, technology, privacy, and cyber risks as well as negotiating with carriers on terms and conditions. In 1998 Robert joined AIG as legal counsel for its Professional Liability group and held several executive and legal positions, including CUO for Professional Liability and Technology. In his last role at AIG, Robert was the Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) of eBusiness Risk Solutions at AIG. While at AIG, Robert oversaw the creation and drafting of underwriting guidelines and policies for all lines of Professional Liability, including some of the first cyber insurance policies. Robert was also instrumental in the development of specialty reinsurance to address aggregation of risk issues inherent in cyber, privacy and technology insurance. In addition to working with AIG, Robert has also been in private practice, principally as legal counsel to various Lloyds of London syndicates. He’s been recognized by Business Insurance as a Rising Star, has published articles on professional liability, and has presented at various forums through the world. He earned his BA and JD at Fordham University.

Timothy F. Stanfield is a Shareholder with the Florida Government Law & Policy Practice. He represents a broad array of private and public-sector clients before the Florida Legislature, Cabinet and State agencies. Tim’s practice is largely focused on regulated industries to include insurance, land use, and alcoholic beverages, including addressing ‘tied house evil’ issues. He also represents local governments, trade associations, and clients participating in Florida’s procurement process. Tim has more than a dozen years of lobbying experience, and is known within Florida’s Capitol for his deep subject matter knowledge and strategic thinking. Tim also provides clients with regulatory legal and consulting services. Tim has obtained a variety of permits, licenses, and approval certificates from state and local government agencies. He maintains working relationships within state departments and agencies, including the Department of Financial Services, Office of Insurance Regulation, Department of Economic Opportunity, Department of Transportation, Department of Health, Agency of Health Care Administration, Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and the Department of Management Services.
