VCIA 2022 Conference COVID-19
Precautions and Attendance Requirements
VCIA is taking precautions to make
sure all participants and guests are safe while attending the annual conference
August 8-11, 2022.
If you plan to attend VCIA events,
please note the following:
- VCIA is requiring
all attendees to have received either the Covid-19 vaccination or a
negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours before the start of the
event.
- If
you are not vaccinated, we require that you wear a mask.
- If the wearing of masks is required by law and/or the
meeting venue on August 8-11, it will be required at the VCIA Event.
- If
the wearing of masks is not required by law or the meeting venue on August
8-11, then wearing a mask is a personal choice to be made by each
vaccinated attendee and respected by all.
- VCIA
will not provide conference registration fee or accommodations refunds to
individuals who test positive – however registrations are transferrable.
If You Are Sick or Have Been
Exposed:
- If you are
sick, showing any potential symptoms, have tested positive for Covid-19
and not recovered, or were exposed to anyone who tested positive within
the last five days, please stay home.
- If you experience any symptoms
after your arrival, please do not attend the VCIA Event. Please alert both VCIA and DoubleTree by
Hilton Hotel Burlington.

Acknowledgement of Risk
Event participants understand and
acknowledge that travel to and attendance at VCIA’s August Annual Conference
(“Event”) may increase their risk of exposure to communicable diseases,
including COVID-19 and its variants (“COVID-19”). Participants understand and
acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk
of exposure to or infection by COVID-19 by attending this Event. Participants
understand that the risks associated with COVID-19 include but are not limited
to serious and potentially life-threatening illness, long-term health effects,
and even death. Your attendance at the Event is voluntary. Knowing these facts,
participants who wish to attend the Event in person knowingly assume the risks
related to COVID-19 associated with in-person attendance.
VCIA COVID policy will be reevaluated
monthly, and any changes will be communicated to those already registered and
noted on the event website.
Thank you in advance for observing
these safety requirements. Please contact Kevin Mead, VCIA President at kmead@vcia.com
