    Join us for a special welcome for those attending their first VCIA Conference or members seeking more insight into VCIA activities. Get helpful advice from captive owners and the conference chair about how to make the most of your conference experience. VCIA Conference Ambassadors will be available throughout the conference to provide assistance and answer all questions to help make your conference experience a success. Organization: edRISK Sponsored Captive


As President and CEO of edHEALTH, LLC and its stop-loss captive Educators Health Insurance Exchange, Tracy is also the current Board Chair on the Vermont Captive Insurance Association Board of Directors. Recognizing the financial challenges of schools nationwide, Tracy played a leading role in launching edHEALTH, a consortium of educational institutions coming together to save money on insurance costs and improve the healthcare experience for faculty and staff. Now in its tenth year, edHEALTH continues to grow in member schools under Tracy’s strategy, vision and leadership. Tracy brings a unique strategic perspective to human resources and finance at educational institutions. She’s a self-describing recovering Human Resources Officer, serving 17 years as Vice President of Human Resources at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and past president of Southern New England CUPA (2012-2013). She is an alumna of Roger Williams University and lives in Bristol, RI, with her husband and their two labs.


Organization: Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc.


Aaron brings considerable experience in assignments involving loss reserving and statements of actuarial opinion, funding studies, loss cost projections, captive feasibility studies, and personal and commercial lines ratemaking. Aaron also previously lectured in mathematics at Illinois State University, and is an honorably discharged sergeant and combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps.


Organization: Vermont Captive Insurance Association


Kevin Mead is the President of the VCIA, the largest captive insurance trade association in the world. VCIA leads the industry in educational and networking opportunities, as well as legislative advocacy on the state and federal levels. Kevin became President of the VCIA in early 2022 and has a wealth of association management and financial experience that demonstrates his leadership ability. Prior to VCIA, he engineered a merger of three global independent accounting associations and forming PrimeGlobal, which represented 2,000 partners and 14,000 employees in 90+ countries. Holding two master’s degrees related to association management and finance, Kevin plans to build out the captive industry’s flagship conference, increase VCIA membership and membership value, and evolve the organization amid the current pandemic and economic challenges.

With over 25 years at the firm, Jason’s primary responsibilities include service in all facets of captive consulting and captive management engagements ranging from risk retention groups, group captives and pure captive programs. Throughout his career, Jason has handled a significant portfolio of captive insurance companies (pure and group) with services involving accounting, underwriting and regulatory compliance. He has helped implement many new captive programs in several US captive domiciles. Jason also serves as a member of the Board of Directors and as an Officer of many captive insurance companies. In his current role, Jason is responsible for the US captive management t team, serves as project lead on several captive consulting engagements and is the lead client executive on a portfolio of captive insurance companies (pure and group). Jason joined Willis Corroon Management (Vermont), Ltd. after graduating summa cum laude from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, with a B.S. in accounting. Jason is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Vermont and is a member, in good standing, with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Jason is also a licensed property & casualty insurance producer in several US states. He is an active Board of Director member for the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) and International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE).


Organization: Marsh Captive Solutions


Maigh Wright’s aim as a consulting actuary in the Property & Casualty field is to provide valuable insight into the risk management practices of my clients. Her experience includes loss reserving, ratemaking, and data analysis for a variety of client types including multiline property and casualty insurers, captives, self-insurers, risk retention groups, reinsurance pools, and state insurance departments. She was an Associate Actuary at Milliman for ten years before assuming her current role, in 2020, as Marsh’s Vice President & Actuarial Consultant.
