Bio:Philip N. Vorreiter joined MCIC Vermont in January 2009 and currently serves as Vice President of Finance. In his capacity Mr. Vorreiter is responsible for the strategy and execution of all financial affairs of the Company including but not limited to accounting, taxes, premium, investments, and financial reporting. Throughout his tenure at MCIC Vermont, Mr. Vorreiter has participated in and overseen the growth of the Finance and Accounting functions as the Company insourced its accounting and GAAP financial reporting processes, re-domiciled and merged its foreign captive into one entity and established a MAR compliant internal controls environment along with numerous other achievements.
Prior to joining MCIC Vermont, Mr. Vorreiter was an Assistant Controller at a Managing General Agent which focused on brokering non-standard lines of insurance.
Mr. Vorreiter considers his greatest achievement to date his 18-year (and going) marriage to his wife Sarah and the on-going rearing of their 3 children.
Mr. Vorreiter received his bachelor's degree (BS) in Finance and Marketing from Berry College and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Kennesaw State University. Mr. Vorreiter is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF).
