Bio:Michael O’Malley is a managing director for Strategic Risk Solutions. Mike is responsible for the overseeing the delivery of all SRS’ business planning consulting services, including statistical loss and exposure analyses, feasibility studies, implementation programs, and financial analysis for captives and other types of risk financing programs. Mike has over 20 years’ experience in the captive and insurance industries and has formed captives and risk retention groups in 12 different domiciles. Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance/Economics from Bentley College and an MBA (with concentrations in entrepreneurship and finance from Babson College. He holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM), an Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), and a Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from the CERMAS program at Georgia State University.
